Demetrius Markham grew up in Rockford, IL. Amidst a family full of artistic and expressive souls, he quickly fell in love with creating. Growing as an artist and person over the years, Demetrius now primarily produces animation and video work. In the past, he produced many physical pieces, drawing painting and sculpting his way through his BFA at the University of Michigan.
This site contains various portfolios of works which showcase Demetrius's broad array of artistic experiences. Among them are pieces and projects questioning concepts such as: racial identity, reality, object permanence, humanity, and interpersonal relationships.
